چکیده
Some organic compounds in phosphoric acid are a potential mediator of adverse environmental impacts on soil. This work aims to detect and reduce the content crude using waste sludge, from water treatment plants, as low-cost sorbent. Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) was used species acid, while X-ray fluorescence (XRF), Diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope equipped with energy-dispersive (SEM/EDAX) attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy were characterise sludges. Practically, three sludge samples (S1 El-Marg, S2 Al-Obour S3 El-Sheikh Zayed stations, respectively) utilised different factors including shaking time, sorbent dose concentration studied. The results GC/MS revealed that contains bis [tert-butyl(dimethyl)silyl] azelaate, dibutyl phthalate 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol main species. Moreover, clay surface charge strongly affect removal efficiency Kinetic analysis Lagergren pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, Morris-Weber Elovich models displays sorption process sludges is chemisorption process. The capacity applied sorbents 26.3, 23.3 22.8 mg/g for S1, S3, respectively, which indicates exhibit clarification sequentially produce green phosphate fertilisers.

Hydrogen sulfide and organic compounds removal in municipal wastewater using ferrate (VI) and ultraviolet radiation
Background: In this study, ferrate (VI) and ultraviolet (UV) radiation were employed to remove hydrogen sulfide from municipal wastewater resulting in a reduction in chemical oxygen demand (COD). Although ferrate (VI) and UV have been used individually for the removal of a few pollutants from urban and industrial wastewater, there exists no study to investigate the effectiveness of si...

15 صفحه اولRemoval of the hazardous, volatile, and organic compound benzene from aqueous solution using phosphoric acid activated carbon from rice husk
BACKGROUND Benzene is one of the most hazardous organic pollutants in groundwater. The removal of benzene from water is very important from a health point of view and for environmental protection. In this study, benzene adsorption kinetics was investigated using phosphoric acid activated carbon, prepared from rice husk. RESULTS An initial rapid uptake of benzene was observed and became almost...
